Peter Schiff Wins the Prediction Gimmick Award

Respected gold investor and Bitcoin critic, Peter Schiff, has won the Ministry’s “Prediction Gimmick” (Pr-ick) award.

This award is given anally (sic) for making bold predictions that turn out to be completely embarrassing and false, just to gain attention on the internet. To qualify, someone must make at least three ridiculous public forecasts and remain proud of them even after they do not come true.

Schiff often employs this gimmick of making outlandish guesses in order to generate hype about his social media accounts. Resorting to this tactic may be cringeworthy to some, but not to Peter. He is a true trailblazer in the art of swapping integrity for publicity.

Some people have asserted that Peter is not actually trolling to gain views, and really does believe his constantly incorrect prophecies. However, that would make him a complete moron, and the Ministry refuses to accept this as an explanation.

An expert commented, “His dogged determination to keep predicting negative outcomes in the hope that one might be right in the future is something he’s done for years,” the expert stated. “If one did happen to be right, it would allow him to appear as a maverick genius and proclaim, ‘I told you so,’ while ignoring the myriad times he was completely wrong.”

This tactic has been named "Talking utter Schiff", in honour of the great man.
